Digital Marketing Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant to support our design team and manage our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, categorizing, tagging, and maintaining our digital assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and accurately documented. This role will also support various needs of the marketing team, including sample management, contract follow-up, and internal task management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Asset Management:

• Collecting Assets: Gather multimedia assets (images, videos, product pages) from the external agency or internal design team
• Categorizing and Storing: Systematically categorize and store assets based on type, purpose, and source for easy retrieval – following global guidelines on how the assets need to be tagged
• Asset Backup: Regularly back up important assets to ensure safety and restorability in case of unexpected incidents.
• Asset Delivery: Promptly and accurately upload assets and generate delivery links in urgent situations.

2. Asset Tagging:

• Tagging System: Add detailed tags to each asset, including themes, keywords, dates, sources, and usage permissions to facilitate search and management.
• Standardized Tagging: Develop and implement standards and procedures for asset tagging to ensure consistency.
• Updating and Maintenance: Regularly check and update asset tags to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

3. Additional Responsibilities:

• User Training: Provide training for employees on asset management and usage, helping them become familiar with the Asset Management Depository (DAM/BYNDER)
• Technical Support: Work with the technical team to fix issues when encountered to ensure the stable operation of the asset library.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their asset needs and provide personalized asset management services.
• Sample Management and Delivery: Manage and deliver samples as needed.
• Contract Management and Agency Payment: Follow up on contracts with new suppliers, manage financial payments, and handle invoice follow-ups.
• WorkFlow Process Follow-up: Track and follow up with all reviewing parties to complete the review process, uploading proofs, etc.
• Internal Task Management: Establish and track an internal task management table for the department, refining it with the traffic manager as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Business, Marketing or related field
• Intermediate level of English will be important for tagging and working with the global team in LA
• Experience in using DAM systems and other related software will be helpful but not essential
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A can-do disposition with a strong willingness to support a growing team and to roll up sleeves when there are tight timelines
