Manager, Product Management

The Financials and Grantmaking Pillar is on an exciting growth trajectory, and we're seeking a bold, innovative Manager, Product Management to lead a team of passionate product managers. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in nonprofit grantmaking, a strong understanding of AI technologies, and a "break glass" mindset—ready to experiment, learn fast, and iterate quickly.

You'll be responsible for delivering key customer and business value, owning a capability backlog, and driving results through strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and people leadership. You'll coach and mentor your team to raise the bar in product delivery while staying hands-on with product strategy and execution.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage a team of product managers through coaching, mentoring, and goal setting. Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Product Strategy: Own and evolve the product roadmap for key capabilities in the Financials and Grantmaking space, with a focus on nonprofit sector needs and AI-driven innovation.
  • Customer-Centric Execution: Partner with engineering, UX, and stakeholders to define user requirements, solve meaningful problems, and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Measure What Matters: Define success metrics, track adoption and usage, and use data to inform decisions and iterate quickly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure strong alignment with Engineering, UX, PMO, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver cohesive, high-impact solutions.
  • Market Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, especially in AI and nonprofit grantmaking, to position our products as market leaders.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Define and manage go-to-market strategies for new capabilities and product launches.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers through events, feedback loops, and strategic conversations.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Nonprofit Grantmaking: Deep understanding of the workflows, challenges, and opportunities in the nonprofit sector.
  • AI Fluency: Familiarity with AI technologies and how they can be applied to solve real-world problems in finance and grantmaking.
  • Leadership Mindset: Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams. You're a player-coach who thrives on helping others grow.
  • Innovative Spirit: You're not afraid to try, fail, learn, and try again. You bring a "break glass" mentality to problem-solving.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to connect the dots between customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent at articulating vision, progress, and priorities to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Agile Practitioner: Experience working in agile environments with a strong grasp of agile methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including people leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with nonprofit financials and grantmaking platforms strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of applying AI or data-driven approaches in product development.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Thrive in ambiguity and love solving complex problems.
  • Are passionate about empowering nonprofits to do more good.
  • Have a track record of bold thinking and calculated risk-taking.
  • Are energized by mentoring others and building strong teams.
  • Want to shape the future of intelligent finance and grantmaking.
