Marketing Program Manager

The Marketing Program Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales of physical and digital gift cards across a diverse network of distribution partners, including retail, ecommerce, loyalty programs, and incentive channels. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and promotional initiatives in close collaboration with Strategic Relationship Managers and Account Managers. Key responsibilities include analyzing sales performance and forecasting trends, identifying opportunities to increase product visibility and optimize distribution, and managing cross-functional efforts to support partner excellence. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a solution-oriented approach, and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide marketing support to Business Development and Distribution Sales teams such as developing and maintaining marketing program calendars, drive marketing brainstorming and planning discussions
  • Forecasting and analytics for marketing programs, develop overviews of executed programs outlining successes and failures
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external clients with a focus on customer service and conflict resolution
  • Identify and leverage marketing opportunities within new distribution partners to drive Blackhawk product sales
  • Develop and execute marketing programs for new Blackhawk initiatives
  • Marketing programs may include but are not limited to: program development, creation sell in documents, creative development and messaging, marketing plan and timelines, communication strategy, merchandising and fulfillment (clip strips, shippers, kitting) of program and budget management
  • Work with print vendors and various third parties on pricing and execute programs
  • Identify and incorporate industry facts and studies surrounding major gift-giving occasions that aid in the development and support of new marketing initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or executive leaders
  • Provide the leadership team with suggestions and ideas on a regular basis for how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations

Qualifications:

  • Program/Project Management: Proven ability to plan, implement, and manage marketing programs from start to finish, often leading cross-functional initiatives. Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, high volume, creative, resourceful and solutions oriented. Must be detailed oriented and possess strong organization and time management skills. Keen sense of urgency
  • Analytics & Performance: Strong analytical skills to track metrics, analyze data, forecast, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communication: The ability to convey complex ideas effectively and tailor messaging to different stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Marketing Experience: A solid foundation in marketing principles and practice, which can be gained through roles such as marketing coordinator or campaign manager.
  • Computer literate with excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet savvy

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, and Communications
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working with retail clients, sales executives, and account management
