Blackhawk's vision is to create meaningful connections between global consumers and brands, through innovative payment technologies. The world leader in store value payments and distribution for gifting and reward is extending that leadership to other payment solutions and channels including digital currencies, promotions, embedded rewards, loyalty, and payment disbursements.

Innovation in payments means evolving our solutions in alignment with how people connect with brands and one another, seeking to understand and contextualize payments & stored value where and how those connections occur. To achieve that vision, Blackhawk is transitioning its physical distribution capabilities to a digitally accessible platform, enabling brands to win new customers, increase engagement and spend, and leverage stored value payments to increase loyalty and incentivize behavior. One of the biggest opportunities for our network participants is the more than 1 billion consumers interactions that occur every week across a broad range of touchpoints, affording us the opportunity to drive incremental spend and deliver better experiences for consumers and businesses.

This role reports to the VP of Product for Global Core Services and sits alongside our developer experience & data platforms, as well as our global content network. It is responsible for several important outcomes (and associated example metrics):

  • Extend settlement & billing for versatile client offerings including funding management and real-time payments for B2B, innovative pricing, and ultimately offer services as an embeddable option for developers to leverage as a stand-alone SaaS solution (time to order release, cost of funds)

Responsibilities

  • Financial product offerings for consumers including evolution of prepaid, RAN, & closed loop cards, digital accounts and wallets as a service, disbursement products, and digital spend enablement (in physical and digital storefronts)
  • Partners & Vendor selection to aid in consumer product offerings, speed to market, and experimentation
  • Network value measurements such as spend, product penetration, and lifetime value
  • Strategic partnerships & strategies to support global client's settlement & billing/currency management securely & profitably
  • Expansion of network to support industry standards, platform and SMB product drivers (self-serve, embeddability, etc.)
  • Drive a servicing mindset and solutions to empower BHN and clients to drive the full product experience for end-to-end customer delight & recurring usage
  • Ownership and leadership of product strategy globally, integrating product strategies across BHN's commerce, incentive, & consumer solutions
  • Lead efforts on market awareness and customer centric design, partnering with GTM, Product Marketing and others to bring new products to market
  • Balance scalability, cost-effectiveness, and optimization of platform and products for a global distribution of product offerings
  • Define business cases to grow Blackhawk Network globally. Collaborate with executive management—within product, legal, compliance, marketing, and other functions (globally) - to develop vision and prioritize growth strategies.
