As we look ahead to Bloomreach in 2026, the role of Principal Product Manager for AI Search is an incredibly impactful position - helping our customers realize the transformative power that GenAI has for e-commerce search. We are seeking a visionary and strategic PM to drive our Search product roadmap, with the background to guide our team toward a compelling roadmap & deliver on that with crisp execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Roadmap & Execution (50% of time)
- Own large portions of the Search Product Roadmap: Lead the development and execution of the Search product strategy, ensuring it aligns with our overall business objectives and customer needs. Main focus areas are Ranking, Relevance, Data Quality.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of the technical aspects of AI Search, including areas like Large Language Models (LLMs), artificial intelligence, recall, ranking, and personalization.
- Innovation: Stay curious about emerging technologies and assess how they can enhance our product stack, continuously delivering cutting-edge innovation.
- Project Scoping and Sequencing: Effectively scope and sequence projects to ensure timely and impactful delivery.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct thorough research with Data Science to identify problem areas within Search for our customers, using data to inform prioritization and feature development.
- Business Impact Analysis: Ensure all features have a clear path to improving key business metrics (RPV, Conversion Rate), with defined hypotheses on expected impact.
- Process Optimization: Enhance our product delivery process to be efficient and effective, keeping all tools (like Productboard) up to date and ensuring a well-oiled operation.
- Optimization & Experimentation (20% of time)
- A/B Testing Program: Collaborate with Research & Development (R&D) and Customer Success (CS) teams to accelerate our A/B testing & optimization program.
- Support Key Tests: Provide support for critical in-flight A/B tests, especially those comparing our product against competitors.
- Insight Integration: Analyze test results to identify opportunities for performance lift and integrate these insights back into the product roadmap.
- Develop Playbooks: Create comprehensive guides for CS and customers on implementing features to drive improvements, covering both existing and new functionalities.
- Early Access Program: Define and manage an early access program, setting key criteria for testing and collaborating with early adopters to demonstrate the value of new features.
- Customer and Go-to-Market Support (20% of time)
- Customer Engagement: Deliver roadmap overviews and updates to customers, and support the resolution of escalations for enterprise clients.
- Go-to-Market Partnership: Train CS and Sales team members about new releases, partner with Product Marketing to create collateral & launch materials.
You have the following experience and qualities:
- Professional Experience
- 4-6 years experience with the intersection of Search, E-commerce, and AI & ML technologies (LLMs, Vector Search, Personalization, Keyword Search, ML ranking models, Data Enrichment).
- 1-3 years experience in B2B SaaS Product Management.
- Proven success as a Product Manager (launching impactful features).
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
