Associate Wiring Installation Designer

The Boeing Company Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) Engineering team is seeking a Part-Time Associate Wiring Installation Designer in Oklahoma City, OK. This position in the Lab organization will be part of the team that maintains releases and assists in developing electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data, to support development and production of Boeing laboratories.

The selected candidate should possess a basic knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering and scientific principles; the ability to apply this knowledge to develop, design, analyze, and validate solutions for wire harness and equipment installation designs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team environment using design tools to prepare documentation and incorporate basic design changes.
  • Creates, develops and maintains elementary systems designs.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of moderately complex product designs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Course work in CATIA drafting
  • Experience with CATIA v5
  • Experience with Enovia
  • Experience with Part Detail Drawings
  • Experience with Part Installation Drawings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program
  • Experience with Systems Integration Lab Design

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This is a 1st shift position.

Summary pay range: $49,300 โ€“ 66,700
