We are currently have an opening for a level 1 Interiors Technical Designer to join our Engineering Marker Design Team in Long Beach, CA.

At Boeing Global Services' (BGS) Engineering Marker Design Team you will provide design support for 7-series aircraft Markers utilized in Post-Production, MODS (Modifications), Conversions Programs and reach-back support for Production Markers. The team also has RAA (Responsibility, Authority & Accountability) for all markers for all Heritage McDonnell Douglas Aircraft and the C-17.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Making design changes to aircraft Markers
  • Utilizing engineering tools such as CATIA, ENOVIA, PDM (Product Data Management) and Excel, PowerPoint & Adobe.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering Drawings & Specs along with attention to details and organization & communication skills. Teamwork skills is also a key success driver.
  • Cross-collaboration with team members

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree that is STEM related w/4 years' experience related to Position Responsibilities as mentioned above, or Bachelor's Degree STEM related w/1+ years experience, OR 8+ years experience with High School degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Read and Interpret Eng Drawings & Specs Attention to detail
  • Great organization & communication skills
  • Experience with CATIA or other CAD/CAM software.
  • Teamwork skills is also a key success driver.
