KC-46 Product & Service Quality Manager

The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product & Service Quality Manager to support the KC-46 Quality Team in Tukwila, WA!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • Acquires and manages resources for a team that leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
  • Develop and present briefs with customers, and stakeholders
  • Must be able to work variable shifts, shift will be determined at the time of the offer

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience using Systematic Problem Solving
  • Ability to work variable shifts which include working days, nights, weekends and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher (Engineering or STEM, preferred)
  • FAA Repair Station Experience
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and teaming skills

Additional Information:

  • This position requires travel up to 10% of the time
