Mid-Level Cloud Product Specialist

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Product Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA or North Charleston, SC.

The Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Information Data Technology & Security (IDT&S) Office of the CIO — Architecture organization is seeking Mid-Level Cloud Product Specialist to coordinate Cloud implementation across BCA. This role serves as the integrator between business stakeholders and information technology (IT) product managers/solution architects to capture cloud implementation, risks, opportunities, across all stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the product roadmap for a cloud domain (e.g., compute, storage, networking, platform services, cost management, or security) aligned to BCA goals
  • Gather and key stakeholder needs through interviews, telemetry, support insights, and competitive analysis
  • Balance short-term operational/incident response responsibilities with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Partner with cloud engineering, platform teams, architects, info-sec, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery: coordinate releases, manage dependencies, and remove blockers
  • Establish and track product key performance indicators (KPIs) (e.g., cost optimization, availability, deployment frequency, time-to-market, adoption)
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, including executive updates, working sessions, and governance forums
  • Manage lifecycle from discovery to deprecation: user research, requirements, acceptance criteria, and readiness for production
  • Advocate cloud best practices (security, cost management, observability, reliability) and vendor management where applicable
  • Support change management and adoption: training, documentation, and internal communications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience assessing security architecture and capabilities of SaaS and COTs products
  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud hosted platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
  • 3+ years of experience in process management, running the business operations, and proactive productivity metric development
  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Certified Product Owner (CSPO) or related product management certification
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated industries
  • Experience with cloud cost management tools and FinOps practices
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes)
