Quality Assurance Inspector

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join the COBJAX team in Jacksonville, FL. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

• This inspector implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
• Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions.
• Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner.
• Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished.
• Communicates deficiencies to proper persons.
• Maintains Quality Control files.
• Documents results of all inspections.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• 1+ year of experience with Quality Assurance or Technical Inspection.
• 1+ year of experience in conducting Compliance, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Tool Control and/or Audit assessments.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Proficient in all forms of NCR and EPD generation (NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU and RGEN Revision, etc.).
• A&P License.
• Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.

Summary pay range: $46,750 - $63,250

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
