Product Acceptance Specialist

The Boeing Company's Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B or C) to support the Quality Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

We are looking for a teammate that has extensive product inspection experience, problem-solving skills, is process improvement driven, who will be providing education and will mentor on the Quality Management System (QMS), developing and managing relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners, and suppliers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform routine product conformity inspections to design requirements
  • Performs complex part inspections on electrical, structural and or aircraft systems part assemblies
  • Provides objective evidence of inspection results
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Support and provide oversight within the production system
  • Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain confined space certification.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain fall protection certification.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
  • Ability to obtain/maintain confined space certification (through wing tank access hole (18"X10"))
  • Ability to obtain/maintain fall protection certification (working in manlifts/mobile platforms)
  • Willing to work overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in conducting Compliance, Root Cause Corrective Action
  • Knowledge of Standard work and how to write and maintain Standard work
  • 787 Program Experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Level B: $55,500 - $65,500

Level C: $61,200 - $67,000

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. ยง120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This is not a Safety Sensitive Position.

This position does not require a Security Clearance.
