Product Acceptance Specialist

The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist B to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shifts, including nights and weekends!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies
  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Performs preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformance
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned
  • Two or more years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or a regulated industry
  • One or more years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • One or more years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • One or more years of experience with the following types of hand tools (calipers, digital optical micrometers, depth gages, thread gages, go no go gages, etc.)
  • One or more years of experience navigating CMES
  • One or more years of experience working with REDARS, IVT

This position is for 4th shift (variable shift). Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation is needed.
