First-line Product and Service Quality Manager

The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First-line Product and Service Quality Managers (Level K) to support the Customer Quality Support (CQS) team in Everett, Washington.

The Customer Quality Support (CQS) Team is seeking leaders. This is a fast-paced flight line, factory manager position. The candidate will be supporting a team of 10 to 15 Customer support employees. We are seeking leaders who inspire the team at all levels to collaborate, problem solve and eliminate waste in the system, and who are passionate about engagement, customer support, and accountability. They will be working within Quality Management Systems (QMS) and oversight of customer activities sitewide. This manager will be reporting to a senior Customer Quality Support Manager while supporting offsite activities and supporting onsite manufacturing managers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System. May make decisions in concurrence of customer determinations on behalf of the company and Airline agencies
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • 3+ years of experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years working with managing product definition data requirements, processes, or product data
  • 3+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis
  • 3+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review
  • Willing to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays (primarily first shift)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • 3+ years of experience working on the BCA Airplane Programs
  • 3+ years of experience in Flightline maintenance
  • 3+ years working with Aircraft Production or Maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft assembly
  • Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft system

Summary pay range: $132,000 - $156,400
