Job Description

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

• Understanding of product development life cycle, design for manufacturing.
• Co-ordination with internal/external stakeholders
• Experience in designing microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits.
• Knowledge in communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, etc
• Knowledge of components selections/design, BOM preparation, thermal analysis/calculations, and spice simulations.
• Experience in analog and digital circuit design, board level power supply design (Buck, Boost, LDO, Linear). Experience in motor driver/control circuit design (Stepper, BDC, BLDC, Motor drivers).
• Experience in MOSFETs, Driver circuits (PMOS, NMOS, High Side, Low side, H-bridge) and current sensing circuits, amplifier etc.
• Experience in EMI/EMC compliant design. Participation in EMC testing in external labs
• Experience with CAD tool (Altium/ORCAD) for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
• Experience in board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting the electronic circuits.
• Ability to perform Test & Measurement activities using Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer etc.
• Basic understanding FMEA and FMEDA on Electronic design.
• Preparing project documentation like Requirement documents, Layout guidelines, worst case calculations, Hardware design documents, test plan, test report etc. Additional skill set:
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary design team.
• Good team player and should have strong analytical, and logical skills.
• Good communication skills.

Qualifications

BE/B-Tech/ME/MTech (Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation related branches)
