Product Manager II

Purpose

  • Assists in developing and executes the business plan initiatives for their product line(s) or key marketing project(s).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing and executing the franchise integrated market business plan. Coordinate the tactical plan, market segmentation, product positioning, and messaging required to execute the plan.
  • Provide "Voice of Customer (VOC)" direction as CTM on new product design and development within the internal Technology &/or Product Development Process.
  • Assist in managing the franchise's internal global downstream marketing network and provide marketing direction to field sales and other strategic channels, including execution of the launch commercialization process.
  • Identify and assess product opportunities &/or new markets by understanding the clinical procedure, the key decision makers, and business barriers and motivations.
  • Partner with Marketing Science, Communications and Programs, Global Marketing Analytics and Education Program Management, taking full advantage of their expertise to maximize product and project success.
  • Provide leadership for the franchise marketing processes and key marketing project deliverables by recommending and participating in managing the set of resources required for the franchise to meet its business plan.
  • Establish, build and maintain key internal and external relationships, including cross functional teams, other franchises, sales, and opinion leaders.
  • Partner with finance, sales, and supply chain to develop the forecast as well as resolve other operationally related issues.
  • Assist in the development and execute strategic and tactical plan(s) that show clear connection to the IMBP and drives successful attainment of goals as they relate to a specific product, channel or project.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA Degree
  • At least 3 months internship experience in the medical device space
  • Experience with endo bariatric financial and market modeling in the Endoscopy space at a Medical Device company
  • Previous experience as an employee or intern with Boston Scientific

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in marketing, healthcare, or medical device

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
