The Director Of Marketing is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing at Amerita, a national specialty infusion pharmacy. This role is accountable for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, referral partner support, and revenue growth. The Director will lead a high-performing marketing team and collaborate with leaders across Sales, Managed Care, Trade, Operations, Clinical, and IT. A successful candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements integrated marketing strategies to support short- and long-term business growth objectives
  • Partners with executive leadership on annual business planning and corporate goal alignment
  • Leads market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend monitoring to guide strategic direction
  • Translates market insights into actionable marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Defines and evolves the Amerita brand, ensuring consistency across internal and external communications
  • Oversees creation and enforcement of brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging frameworks
  • Develops and manages corporate communication plans for media relations, crisis communication, and thought leadership
  • Leads multi-channel demand generation programs to support patient referrals, provider engagement, and payer visibility
  • Manages paid search, SEO, social media, email marketing, and marketing automation
  • Designs and optimizes digital experiences including the corporate website, landing pages, and mobile tools
  • Collaborates closely with Sales and Managed Care teams to develop territory marketing tools and programs
  • Delivers sales training, presentation tools, lead generation campaigns, and competitive positioning materials
  • Tracks and supports RFP and proposal marketing content
  • Recruits, leads, and mentors a focused team of marketing professionals
  • Acts as primary liaison with BTSG internal agency to support media buying, creative production, and analytics
  • Manages departmental budget and allocate resources efficiently to meet performance goals
  • Establishes and maintains KPIs and dashboards for campaign performance and ROI tracking
  • Implements tools and systems to streamline marketing operations and improve efficiency
  • Oversees planning and promotion of trade shows, conferences, and internal events
  • Supports charitable sponsorships, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and patient support programs
  • Fosters relationships with advocacy organizations, key physician organizations, and community partners

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)

10–15 years of progressive marketing experience; 5+ years in a leadership role

Experience in healthcare, infusion pharmacy, biotech, or pharmaceuticals preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Deep understanding of B2B and B2C marketing, especially within regulated healthcare environments

Strong digital marketing, content development, branding, and lead generation skills

Proficient in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), CRM/marketing automation (Salesforce, HubSpot), and Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
