Marketing Intern - Buffalo Sabres

The Marketing Intern will support the marketing department with a primary focus on fan engagement, fan events, and theme night/special game experiences. The Marketing Intern will be involved in a wide range of activities related to the marketing and events operations of the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of various fan engagement initiatives and special events throughout the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits 2025-26 season.
• Assist with event preparation including organizing supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all materials are ready and available for activations and promotions.
• Assist in the execution of gameday marketing promotions and activations – including, but not limited to: fan giveaways, brand activations, promotional appearances, gameday events and vendor relations.
• Assist the Marketing department in executing campaigns and promotional plans, including daily operations of the Buffalo Sabres Kids Club program.
• Assist the Fan Development Manager during focus groups to collect fan insights.
• Promote a positive fan experience and work as part of a creative team.

Position Specific Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Events Management, Sports Management or a related field.
• Availability to work weeknights, weekends, gamedays and holidays as needed.
• Must possess strong communication skills, an outgoing and positive attitude and enjoy interaction with fans.
• Other requirements include the ability to work independently and as part of a team, work effectively under pressure and be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as they are presented.

Compensation

This is an hourly position that will pay $15.50 per hour.
