Part-Time Marketing Assistant

Burnett is excited to be partnering with a nonprofit organization in Austin that supports and empowers women! They are currently looking to add a Part-Time Marketing Assistant to their busy team. This will be a long-term contract with the possibility of being hired perm in the future. Main Job Duties Will Be:

• Creating the weekly newsletter that will be sent out digitally to their members (most content will be provided by team)
• Assisting with content creation as needed
• Helping create informative and creative digital content promoting the organization
• Assisting with managing social media sites
• Helping them grow their brand awareness in the digital market

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

• Marketing/Digital Media degree (also open to current student pursuing degree who has some experience)
• Creative and outgoing individual
• Design skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.
• Knowledgeable about social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

Location, Salary, Schedule:

• Role will be primarily remote, but will require occasional in-person brainstorming sessions in Austin
• Flexible schedule - targeting 20 hours/week commitment
• Pay Rate: $20/hr
