About The Team:

This role is within Capital One's Enterprise Consumer Product (ECP) organization, on the Marketing & Messaging Content Products team. ECP is responsible for Capital One's digital customer experiences, including its award winning mobile app, its online presence, and Enterprise-grade products and platforms used across all lines of business. Our team is driving a large-scale transformation of our content supply chain to unlock highly personalized, intelligent experiences for millions of current and prospective customers.

About The Role:

As a strategic leader within the Content Products organization, you will collaborate across lines of business and product teams to define and deliver a scalable foundation to power intelligent, engaging Content in our marketing and messaging. You will leverage executive communication, technical aptitude, and data fluency to align cross-functional teams on a shared vision, and bring humanity to the work by deeply engaging users across the company throughout.

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and display executive-level influence
  • Familiarity with content and asset management systems (CMS, DAM), and self-service authoring tools in digital marketing and messaging channels
  • Experience leveraging agentic tools to automate content operations and accelerate the velocity of speed to market
  • Analytical mindset and familiarity with multivariate experimentation and intelligent decisioning and experimentation systems

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Product Management

Riverwoods, IL: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management

Chicago, IL: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management

New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Director, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Director, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
