Manager, Data Product Manager - Travel Core Service

The Travel team is at a pivotal moment in our growth journey. We're building the "brain" of our business: a data ecosystem designed to power real-time intelligent customer experiences. Data will be the fuel for scaling Travel to its full potential, and we're building the data products team to help us drive the investments we need to make today to unlock our future growth.

What you'll drive:

  • Lead the data product strategy, design, delivery, and consumer convergence of for 1-2 key Travel produced data domains
  • Lead 2 tech teams to deliver data pipelines and standardized data assets to power human and AI enabled consumer use cases across the Travel business
  • Take an outcome based approach to shaping the data platform roadmap, informed by a "customer first" understanding of data consumption use cases
  • Support risk sloped delivery of major data centralization effort to set the business up for future growth
  • Support data governance and well managed agenda through existing or new capabilities (e.g. data quality tooling) and constructs (e.g. governance models)

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
