Manager, Learning Product & Platform Strategy

Capital One's Enterprise Learning Platform and Operations team is seeking a strategic and detail oriented Manager to serve as the primary architect for our external, AI enabled learning tech platform roadmap. This individual contributor will maximize business impact and learner value from our learning vendor tools, particularly content and skills solutions (e.g. Udemy) and authoring solutions (e.g. Articulate). This role bridges the gap between high-level learning strategy and tactical execution, ensuring our adopted suite of tools and content partners sets us up for an AI enabled future, aligns with enterprise priorities, and drives measurable ROI.

In partnership with internal product, governance, and data teams, this manager will guide the external learning ecosystem to ensure seamless technical integration, adherence to internal operating standards, and reliable performance that delivers an industry-leading experience for all Capital One learners.

The ideal candidate for this role is:

  • A strategic connector: You can look at a suite of tools and see a cohesive ecosystem of what L&D could look like in the future rather than just a list of logins.
  • Vendor savvy: You have experience managing high-stakes enterprise contracts and influencing the product roadmaps of external partners.
  • A data-driven storyteller: You don't just report "logins", you are a structured researcher who generates and sells a perspective that balances learner impact and business value.
  • A change champion: You are tenacious and comfortable leading go-to-market efforts that drive learner action and behavior.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactively align partner roadmaps with our internal enterprise learning priorities and platform direction with a focus on AI enablement.
  • Define and track annual success measures for each partner, focusing on capability gaps and specific business outcomes.
  • Act as the lead for all escalations and executive touchpoints for key vendors.
  • Manage risks and overlaps between vendors to ensure a targeted ecosystem of offerings.
  • Create and execute comprehensive plans, including campaigns, toolkits, and leader-ready messaging to drive platform awareness and adoption.
  • Collaborate with communications teams and learning consultants to boost platform usage and learner engagement.
  • Lead the go to market launch and execution of new features, content updates, and pilots, with a specific focus on AI enablement, in coordination with internal Learning, Product, and Data leads.
  • Establish and maintain clean operational processes for user access, reporting, and technical support with a default to automation and scale.
  • Manage the technical integration of partner content into the broader ecosystem to ensure a seamless, performance-connected learner experience.
  • Meet regularly with business leaders and consultants to translate organizational needs into business case build outs for new L&D capabilities and AI enablement across our tech stack.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in vendor management, strategic program management, or a related strategy role within the Learning & Development (L&D) or EdTech industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading project delivery for cross functional projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Education, Information Technology, or Communications.
  • 1+ years of experience with data analysis
  • 1+ of experience in consulting or contract negotiation
