Senior Associate, Risk | Retail Bank Premium Products & Rewards

We are looking for a highly motivated Risk Management professional with excellent organizational and communication skills. This role provides a high level of exposure across various stakeholders and has the opportunity to support the Discover integration.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary coordinator for identifying, tracking, and resolving risk issues and events specifically tied to Discover migration and Rewards program integrations.
• Manage, implement, and deliver on a subset of the Discover rewards migration risk program deliverables, ensuring timelines and regulatory standards are met.
• Gather data and reporting; perform initial analysis or potentially evaluate data
• Drive effective collaboration with business stakeholders and Risk Office partners
• Explore and collaborate with business and risk office partners in root cause analysis for ineffective results

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Data Management or Data Processes
• At least 1 year of Financial Services Risk Management Experience
• At least 2 years of experience in Project Management
• At least 2 years of experience in Process Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years Relationship Management experience
• 3+ years Data Management or Data Processes experience
• 3+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects in Risk
• 3+ years of Financial Services Risk Management experience
• PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Risk Associate

Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Risk Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
