Marketing Analytics Suite Owner
This role is responsible for owning the marketing analytics suite in Power BI—designing, building, and maintaining dashboards, conducting deep-dive analyses, and enabling stakeholders with actionable insights to optimize campaigns, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
This involves working closely with each marketing function to understand their data needs and delivering actionable insights.
The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Our current technical environment includes:
- Databricks: Utilized for big data processing and collaborative analytics.
- SQL: Employed to query and manage relational databases.
- Python: Used for data manipulation, analysis, and automation of tasks.
- Power BI: The primary tool for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- GenBI: An emerging tool for natural language querying and business intelligence.
- Marketing Tech Stack: Salesforce, Marketo, 6Sense, Drift, SalesLoft, L
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports that track campaign and tactic performance, marketing impact, funnel health, and pipeline.
- Utilize Databricks and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Apply Python for advanced data analytics and automation of reporting processes.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to Marketing leadership.
- Collaborate closely with centralized BI and data teams to improve and manage data pipelines, integrations, and governance as they relate to marketing systems (CRM, MAP, web analytics, etc.).
- Own the accuracy, reliability, and refresh cadence of marketing reporting datasets.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to uncover growth opportunities, optimize conversion funnels, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field with 5 - 8 years of work experience.
- Proven experience in similar BI, data analysis, or analytics roles, with a focus on marketing or revenue analytics.
- Experience with marketing systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, and 6sense is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with data science, decision science, and advanced analytics techniques.
- Familiarity with natural language querying and GenBI is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with global teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work on a schedule that accommodates US stakeholders.
