Product Owner Sales Automation

Location: Munich or Berlin

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our product team and take responsibility for our Sales Automation Team. In this role, you will work closely with an Engineering Manager and cross-functional team members to maximize the value of our sales automation initiatives in several key areas: Supply Sales, Demand Sales, Account Management, and Customer Master Data Management.

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Manager for Sales Automation, you will:

  • Translate the product vision into a concrete roadmap and delivery plan, in close coordination with your Product Space Lead and stakeholders from Sales, Engineering, and other areas.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and product requirements that align with company goals and team capacity.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on impact, feasibility, and strategic importance, balancing short-term delivery goals with long-term scalability.
  • Continuously develop and deliver solutions to:
    • Improve and automate Supply Sales and Demand Sales funnels.
    • Enable proactive customer engagement based on customer behavior patterns.
    • Provide a comprehensive customer overview via Salesforce on desktop and mobile for our sales team.
    • Support the Account Management Team in optimizing manual follow-ups to increase conversion rates post-auctions.
    • Ensure efficient management of customer data, including responsibility for the account and contact data model, and synchronization between Salesforce and our backend system.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure high-quality and on-time delivery of development efforts.
  • Measure success using clear KPIs and feedback loops, and continuously optimize based on sales insights and customer feedback.

Your Profile

You bring strategic vision along with a strong operational understanding:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.
  • Salesforce and Sales: You have practical experience working with Salesforce as a consultant or admin, and know how to extend and optimize the platform for sales teams.
  • Language: Fluent in German and English is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and users.
  • Communication: You feel comfortable in cross-functional teams and can navigate both technical and business discussions confidently.
  • Organization: You work structured, independently, and maintain a clear overview even in complex, dynamic situations.
  • PM Tools: Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
