What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world's most famous and well-loved fashion brands? We are looking for an Associate, Technical Designer to join our growing team in Montreal.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Managing size, fit, quality standards, tolerance, design, pattern, and models.
  • Communicating with the supplier regarding all fit, style, and wash comments.
  • Keeping technical drawings, style, fit measurements, construction, stitching, and patterns up to date.
  • Leading fit sessions to ensure the final fit, execution, and production meet standards.
  • Measuring and checking all samples to maintain accurate specification sheets and technical drawings.
  • Communicating with the CQ inspection team, product development team, and suppliers regarding all feedback and inspection comments.
  • Leading quality review meetings with the design and production teams.
  • Collaborating with multiple departments.

Do You Have The Profile We're Looking For?

  • Degree in Pattern Design.
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel, Illustrator, and PLM.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Experience and understanding of garment design, pattern making, fit and specifications, sewing techniques, denim wash techniques, stitching, and trims.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Bilingual (French/English); English is necessary for this position since the person will work daily with overseas factories and will need to present sketches and send communications and information to clients outside of Quebec.
