Technical Designer
What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world's most famous and well-loved fashion brands? We are looking for a Technical Designer to join our growing team in Montreal.
Major Responsibilities:
- Draw technical sketches of clothing items;
- Show all garment details and views (front, back and inside) on sketch to ensure accurate communication of the complete garment construction to vendors;
- Create detailed tech packs in PLM System;
- Maintain and update tech packs and recaps
- Communicate with design, graphic design and production teams;
- Enter styles in the style library;
- Send / receive / and follow up on parcels to suppliers or customers;
- Provide support to the sales and graphic design teams when needed;
- Follow up on various matters from team meetings.
Do you have the profile we're looking for?

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Fashion design diploma is required
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the garment industry and/or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills
- Skills with PLM is an asset.
- Skills in Graphic Design is an asset.
- Bilingual (French/English); English is necessary for this position since the person will work daily with overseas factories and will need to present sketches and send communications and information to clients outside of Quebec.
