The Division Of Marine Technology Is Dedicated To Research And Education Focused On The Professional Understanding And Technical Development Of Ships And Offshore Structures. Our Research Areas Include Ship Design, Marine Structures, Hydrodynamics, Maritime Risk Management, Maritime Operations, Underwater Technology, And Marine Renewable Energy, Etc., Within The Field Of Ocean Engineering.
This Project Aims To Study Sustainable And Energy-Efficient Maritime Logistics Solutions Of Liquid Carbon Dioxide (Lco2) Originating From Carbon Capture From Energy Intensive And Heavy Industry Sectors Emitters In Norway And The Baltic Sea Region, With Special Emphasis On Sweden, Latvia, Norway And Denmark. The Project Will Assess Lco2 Logistics Scenarios Within Norway, Denmark And The Baltic Sea Region, Identify Upcoming Challenges Within This Field And Suggest Environmental-, Cost- And Energy-Efficient Logistics Solutions From A National And Trans-National Perspective. This Will Serve As A Basis For Recommendation On Design Specification For Lco2 Carrying Ships Included In This Fleet As Well As Their Operation.
You Are Expected To Be Somewhat Accustomed To Teaching, And To Demonstrate Good Potential Within Research And Education.
