Learning Experience Designer
The Learning Experience Designer supports the development of training assets by creating visually appealing, instructionally sound, and user-friendly materials across print and digital platforms. This role focuses on clean, two-dimensional (or planar/surface/traditional) design across defined frames—editorial layouts, presentation decks, and static visual storytelling while being amenable to motion paths, states, and keyframing logic. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in visual design principles and can build structured learning content that supports core training objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Produce editorial PDFs, multi-page documents, and training collateral using flat design principles.
- Create digital artwork, signage, and simple visual elements for learning experiences.
- Apply graphic standards to produce learning products people love and feel confident using.
- Storyboard basic instructional flows and collaborate with team members on design drafts.
- Perform photo editing and visual asset management using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support the build and deployment of eLearning using Articulate Rise or Storyline.
- Interpret wireframes, models, and guides to contribute to iterative prototyping.
- Ensure deliverables meet brand and accessibility standards.
- Travel requirements estimated at 10%, including the need to travel internationally.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Education Technology, or related field.
- Tools & Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Articulate Rise / Storyline, Basic familiarity with LMS tools and accessibility standards.
- Skills & Traits: Strong attention to visual detail and layout consistency, Comfort with flat/static design formats, Excellent time management across multiple design needs and opportunities, Effective communication in collaborative design teams.
