  • Collaborate with channel leads to develop and implement a comprehensive vendor strategy for marketing execution, identifying key vendor categories (e.g. digital platforms, content creation/management/deployment, print services).
  • Conduct market research to identify potential new vendors, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing vendor management.
  • Participate in the vendor selection process, including RFI/RFP development, proposal evaluation, and capabilities assessments.

  • 2. Relationship & Performance Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendor partners, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs for all marketing vendors. Conduct regular performance reviews and business reviews with critical vendors.
  • Identify and address performance gaps, ensuring corrective actions are taken and service quality is consistently met or exceeded.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal marketing teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • 3. Contract & Financial Management:

  • Manage the lifecycle of vendor contracts, including renewals, renegotiations, and terminations, in collaboration with legal and procurement departments.
  • Monitor vendor spend against budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial accountability.
  • 4. Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Assess and mitigate vendor-related risks, including operational, financial, security, and compliance risks (e.g., data privacy, brand guidelines).
  • Ensure all vendor activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Develop contingency plans for critical vendor services to ensure business continuity.
  • 5. Process Improvement & Innovation:
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize vendor management processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and vendor capabilities, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies or services to enhance marketing execution.
