Regulatory Requirements & Obligations (RRO) is a fundamental area of compliance risk management. Citi has an obligation to comply with many and varied regulatory obligations that govern our industry and has established sustainable processes that can identify, apply, and monitor emerging and recent changes to current laws and regulations.

The RRO Quality Review (QR) Team provides oversight for the Regulatory Requirements & Obligations process, performing quality reviews for each stage of the process.

The Quality Review Design & Execution Lead is a senior level position responsible for supporting the Head of Quality Review in leading quality reviews and ad-hoc regulatory projects where required.

This role requires a pragmatic, proactive individual with a background in Financial Services and a solid understanding of the regulatory landscape.

Ideal candidate will have a strong legal and/or compliance background, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience of leading Compliance Reviews/ Audit or in another testing function is desirable but not essential.

What you'll do:

  • Independently lead the execution of testing activity relating to the identification of Regulatory Changes with minimal oversight
  • Execute testing of Financial Regulations Inventory content, with a focus on the accuracy of publication and obligation summaries and data attributes
  • Present findings to broader RRO leadership and other senior stakeholders
  • Support Performance Management activities; contribute to the collating and delivery of feedback and the analysis of performance metrics
  • Provide training and team oversight to maintain QR testing standards
  • Engage with functions outside of QR (including Internal Audit, Consent Order teams)
  • Contribute to team planning and development initiatives
  • Act as a delegate for Head of QR in governance forums as required
  • Foster a culture of credible challenge

What we'll need from you:

Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership, project-management and relationship management skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
  • Team-player, able to work well alongside others to collaborate effectively
  • Proven ability to apply sound judgement while managing assignments in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
