Assistance with legal matters related to products, structures, and treasury negotiations, including foreign exchange and securitization, involving derivatives, compromised operations, foreign exchange, structured loan and financing operations, Fidis, among other global markets operations, encompassing analysis and involvement in regional and global structures, as well as analysis of confidentiality agreements, personal and real guarantees in general, legislation, and regulations of the Brazilian Central Bank and the Securities and Exchange Commission, and representation in class entities. Experience with cross-border legislation and regulation, such as Volcker Rule, Dodd Frank Act, EMIR.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice in the banking practice area;
• Supervise the work of external offices;
• Analyze documentation observing regulatory requirements and internal policies to advise the business area accordingly;
• Draft contracts, letters, and other necessary instruments to meet structures or strategies related to products;
• Perform tasks that support the fulfillment of the bank's general obligations and responsibilities, such as updating standard drafts, internal analyses and reports regarding banking standards/laws, reviewing product manuals, etc.;
• Evaluate risks adequately during decision-making processes related to business, demonstrating special attention to the company's reputation and the protection of Citi, its clients, and assets by promoting compliance with applicable laws, norms, and regulations, following the policy, applying ethical good judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and forwarding, managing, and reporting control problems transparently, as well as effectively supervising the activity of other people and holding accountable those who do not maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience of 2 to 5 years in the industry, preferably in the financial market;
• Fluent/advanced English;
• Experience in the legal department of a financial institution, company, and/or law firm;
• Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal laws;
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and oral communication;
• Proven analytical and organizational skills;
• Teamwork;
• Collaboration and partnership.

Academic background:

• Bachelor's degree/university undergraduate and OAB.
