Public Sector And Corporate Lockbox Product Specialist
Payments Products is a part of the Services Organization at Citi. We enable our clients to pay and receive payments globally to support their commercial and treasury needs. This role is part of the Domestic Payments team in North America (NAM). The Public Sector and Corporate Lockbox Product Specialist will be a core role responsible for driving the commercialization strategy for our lockbox products across the United States. This position focuses on both ends of the lockbox spectrum, covering highly customized solutions for Public Sector clients as well as foundational lockbox offerings for Corporate clients. These programs generated over $250MM annually so P&L management is key. This role is critical to strategically increase fee growth and wallet share within Public Sector clients and beyond, across Institutional and Commercial banking portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercialization & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute a balanced commercialization strategy with a primary focus on commercial client growth, while simultaneously advancing the firm wide strategic efforts.
- In partnership with the North American leadership team, identify, develop, and pursue large-scale Public Sector opportunities.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation, business case development, and requirements definition to launch, post-launch management, and eventual decommissioning.
- Enhance the firm's market presence and contribute to improved US market rankings through strategic product positioning.
- Product & Market Leadership
- Drive the innovation agenda for existing solutions to unlock margin-rich enhancements and promote P&L growth through the application of AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
- Deepen and foster relationships, both internally and externally, across Public Sector and Corporate client segments.
- Strengthen Citi's market position by effectively representing and promoting our solutions.
- Develop, own, and execute the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the Lockbox product.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to provide critical input for product innovation, adaptation, and differentiation.
- Establish, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for lockbox commercialization, revenue growth, and market penetration for key client segments.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead complex and highly visible programs daily, engaging with a diverse range of external and internal stakeholders.
- Act as an influential leader and a driving force to ensure program success and alignment with strategic goals.
- Partner strategically with Sales and Banking teams to unlock new opportunities and ensure successful client engagements to grow the North American business.
- Act as a subject matter expert in client interactions, supporting Sales and Banking teams in articulating the value proposition of our solutions.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams—including Technology, Operations, Risk, and Legal—to deliver on the product roadmap and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Key Skills
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
8+ years of experience in product management, preferably within large scale transaction banking firms, or a related financial services field.
Proven background in product commercialization with a track record of successfully launching and managing financial products that drive significant revenue.
High level of financial understanding, with a deep knowledge of corporate receivables, cash management, and payment processing ecosystems.
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand system architecture, data flows, and API integrations at a high level.
Highly analytical and metric-driven, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
