Technology Product Management Lead Analyst

The Technology Product Management Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leads the working backwards documents for a platform product release
  2. Uses or commissions research, studies and focus groups to identify best-of-breed benchmarks for solving business problems
  3. Identifies innovations and leads "test and learn" experiments to create platform products that increase customer value
  4. Defines and measures the KPIs for a platform product
  5. Is able to make trade-off decisions on multiple platform products in a portfolio
  6. Develops business and platform requirements for either one platform component of a large platform product or a narrow product
  7. Leverages tools such as Ignite for reusability of APIs and platform services
  8. Determines release goals for a narrow platform product or a component of a large product
  9. Identifies best practices for continuous product development improvement
  10. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a product line management, e-commerce, and/or strategic planning role
  • Significant experience building complex business and/or transactional models.
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a product development or product management environment, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • Proven experience working in an agile culture for 5+ years, with at least 3 years of relevant experience specifically as a Product Owner, preferably within the banking domain.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to be data-driven and results-oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical and business concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and manage third-party service providers, fostering productive partnerships.
  • Experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring systems, functional and data analysis and data mapping to meet business requirements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
