Mid Level Career Agile Product Management

International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual to provide Agile product management expertise for transition of Future Naval Capability (FNC) Science and Technology (S&T) projects into US Navy combat systems. A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a Physical Science discipline from an accredited university.

• Two (2) years of supervisory or management experience in Agile Product Management.

• Five (5) years of experience working with product development frameworks, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and familiarity with the Atlassian Suite of product management tools, including Jira, Confluence, and BigPicture.

• Experience utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes within an Agile delivery model and use of service-based architecture principles and methods.

• Experience utilizing MBSE visualization tools; Cameo Modeler, Magic Draw, SysML.

• Experience with U.S. Navy Surface Force Systems Engineering Architecture and/or Aegis Combat System development and integration.

• Experience working with universities, laboratories, industry and DoD organizations in the transition of new capabilities from development to fielded certified capabilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), with the ability to work independently and as a team member with stakeholders at all levels.

• Secret, or higher, security clearance. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

The position is based in Washington, DC and requires at least one regularly scheduled day per week in-person in the office, with additional in-person days as needed to support project events. Local and non-local travel is required and is estimated at 25%. ISM is a growing small business providing exceptional technical, engineering and program management services to DoD programs.
