Peraton is seeking an Alaska Workstream Product Owner to support Weather and AAC efforts in Alaska. This role will serve as the bridge between program leadership, stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery teams to define priorities, refine work scope, and ensure solutions align with mission, customer, and operational needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex workstreams in a dynamic environment and be comfortable supporting efforts that include operational, technical, and field-based considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary product/workstream owner for assigned Alaska efforts.
  • Define, prioritize, and maintain workstream scope, backlog, and delivery objectives.
  • Coordinate with customer representatives, program leadership, engineers, and support teams to translate requirements into executable work.
  • Support planning and prioritization activities to align delivery with mission needs, schedule, and available resources.
  • Clarify requirements, resolve scope questions, and help balance competing priorities across stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across the assigned workstream.
  • Support development of roadmaps, status reports, briefings, and decision support materials.
  • Ensure work products and deliverables align with contract requirements and operational expectations.
  • Promote communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams supporting Alaska operations.

Work Location / Additional Requirements:

  • This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to and support field sites and remote locations, as required.
  • Ability to work in austere environments and Arctic conditions, including remote site access and limited-amenity accommodations.
  • Willingness to comply with applicable site safety, badging, and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years' experience or MS/MA 10 years' or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years' experience.
  • Experience serving in a product owner, workstream lead, program lead, or similar role supporting technical or operational programs.
  • Experience managing priorities, requirements, stakeholder expectations, and delivery coordination across multiple teams.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting FAA, aviation, weather, infrastructure, or mission-critical federal programs.
  • Experience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with Alaska operations, remote-site logistics, or field-support environments.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
