Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a NIDD Design Manager to lead a team of design engineers supporting Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) regions. In this role, you will create sustainable processes and standards while driving automation opportunities to reduce delivery cycle times and improve quality. You will manage the design of ICT pathways, spaces and infrastructure cabling (copper and fiber) for new data centers and the expansion of existing facilities, ensuring physical infrastructure designs are delivered on time with zero rework. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of data center infrastructure while developing and mentoring a collaborative team of technical professionals. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.

As a NIDD Design Manager, you will collaborate with design engineers across the organization to develop innovative solutions for physical layer infrastructure. Your day may include reviewing design specifications using digital markup tools, mentoring team members on technical challenges, engaging with construction teams to ensure quality standards, and exploring new technologies with vendors. You will balance strategic planning with hands-on technical guidance, ensuring your team delivers high-quality designs while continuously improving processes. This role provides opportunities to influence infrastructure decisions at scale while building meaningful relationships across AWS.
