Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking IPT Software Design Manager 3. This role works at the Segment/IPT level of an extremely complex System comprised of multiple Segments, all of which incorporate mature and emerging technologies. This engineer will lead the software design team and partner with other engineering function leaders to progress and mature the segment, and support critical engineering reviews and milestones (e.g. SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR). This is a dual-role manager/IPT Software Design Lead. Management duties include supporting, developing, and tasking engineering staff; developing engineering process; and providing resources to meet program needs. The manager will also perform technical work on programs. The split between technical and functional management duties will be approximately 80% technical /20% functional, on average. This position will serve on-site in the greater Baltimore, MD area OR Redondo Beach, CA. This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers' requirements.

Primary Level Salary Range: $178,500.00 - $267,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
