The successful candidate will be the Product Coordinator/Task Order Lead responsible for the execution, management, and delivery of a specific MILSATCOM C2 task order under a larger IDIQ contract. This role requires strong leadership, contract compliance expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to meet performance, schedule, and budget objectives. The Task Order Lead will serve as the primary point of contact with the SSC customer and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards. You will be the bridge between vision and delivery. You will define the "what" and "why" of our product roadmap while ensuring the "how" and "when" are executed flawlessly. You will directly shape the features, user experiences, and outcomes that our MILSATCOM customer depends on.

  • Lead day-to-day management of the assigned task order, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Participate in task order proposals, ECPs, CCPs and Studies.
  • Own and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new MILSATCOM C2 mission area.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the internal and external project team, program leadership and government customer(s).
  • Work with the project schedule team to identify and update project milestones, critical path items, dependencies and release schedules.
  • Work with Control Account Managers (CAM) to provide discrete tasks to the scheduling team to support earned value management.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Master's to ensure milestones and release schedules are met.
  • Lead and facilitate technical interchange meetings with both internal and external participants.
  • Support ground system readiness activities, to include leading requirement reviews, feature assessments, level of effort estimating, testing milestone knowledge, deployment planning, and operational user interaction.
  • Translate high-level Project Statement of Work items into high level Initiatives and prepare/present Design Reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Conduct program design reviews as required (SDR, PDR, and CDR).
  • Prepare and present status reports, briefings, and updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Partner with system engineering and product owners to ensure features are created through the process and approved for development.
  • Support sprint planning and product review sessions to ensure alignment with project schedule.
  • Support task order close-out activities including management reviews, lessons learned and the function configuration audit.

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in a government contracting environment.
  • Proven experience managing task orders or projects of similar size and complexity.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (TS/SCI).
  • Experience working with federal agencies or DoD programs.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Experience leading subcontractors and multi-site teams.
  • Proven ability to manage a product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset and strong critical thinking skills.
  • A customer-first approach and a passion for building products that solve real problems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills-able to present and explain technical information to a non-technical audience

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or hybrid role.
  • Knowledge or experience with SCN and MILSATCOM.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multi-site teams.
  • SAFe Agile Certifications
