The work: Product Owner will collaborate directly with senior client executives to facilitate human-centered design workshops and oversee delivery of a robust data science solution using Palantir Foundry. Your daily activities will include conducting team stand-ups, managing the product backlog, and organizing Sprint Reviews as well as product demonstrations for stakeholders. To excel in this position, you should bring hands-on experience with Agile product management methodologies, as you will be expected to oversee the entire lifecycle from conception to delivery. Familiarity with data science concepts and product lifecycle management solutions will help you drive the project to successful completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior client executives to facilitate human-centered design workshops and define target state architecture
  • Conduct daily team stand-ups to ensure project alignment and progress
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and tasks for the development team
  • Organize and lead Sprint Reviews and product demos for customers
  • Oversee the application development process to enable tracking and forecasting of costs for Space Launch equipment
  • Apply Agile product management principles throughout the product lifecycle
  • Provide team leadership and support to ensure successful project delivery

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, with proven ability to lead cross functional teams and manage complex technical products from conception through delivery.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile product management methodologies, including backlog management, daily stand ups, Sprint Reviews, and stakeholder product demonstrations.
  • Experience collaborating directly with senior client executives, facilitating human centered design workshops, and defining target state architecture or product direction.
  • Strong understanding of data science concepts and product lifecycle management, with the ability to guide a development team in delivering data driven solutions within platforms such as Palantir Foundry. Understand solution and lead the team to implement it.
  • Active Public Trust clearance required (Active Secret desired).
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Vandenberg, CA.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Space Force experience strongly desired.
  • Palantir Foundry experience.
  • Military or DoD experience highly desired.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $106,300 - $221,100 USD
