Product Manager
The Product Manager shall be responsible for providing product strategy, stakeholder alignment, and capability prioritization support in execution of the Virtual Wizard Users Group (VWUG) in support of the NIWDC DevLab Virtual Wizard (VW) System of Systems (SoS). The SME II shall ensure VWUG outputs align with DoW policies, enterprise objectives, product roadmap priorities, and established governance processes and timelines. Position will perform duties on NIWDC Headquarters in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead product-level planning and strategic alignment activities for the semi-annual VWUG Conference to ensure discussions, demonstrations, and breakout sessions directly support VW SoS roadmap objectives.
- Develop and maintain prioritized capability backlogs derived from VWUG stakeholder input, user feedback, identified gaps, and integration challenges.
- Translate VWUG outcomes into actionable product artifacts, including roadmap updates, capability release priorities, and recommendations for inclusion in the VW Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM).
- Coordinate with development teams, integrators, and enterprise stakeholders to validate feasibility, integration impacts, and alignment with DevLab architecture and configuration governance processes (e.g., ESC, CCB).
- Prepare and deliver executive-level summaries and product status briefings within ten (10) business days following each VWUG event, capturing prioritized enhancements, risk areas, and strategic decisions impacting product direction.
Experience:
- 5 years experience managing projects, including planning, execution, and reporting;
- Must have an Active TS/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.
- Experience in stakeholder management, community management, or customer engagement;
- Experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives
- Familiarity with Virtual Wizard (VW) System of Systems (SoS)
- Agile/Scrum Master Certified
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation for Government stakeholders.
Compensation Details: US: $90,000 to $100,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
