Product Repair/Modifications Technician

We are seeking an experienced Product Repair/Modifications Technician to perform complex maintenance, repair, and modification tasks on C-17 aircraft systems. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
• Document procedures, repairs, test results, and inspections to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight-worthiness requirements
• Provide training and guidance to team members
• Work under general direction while maintaining safety and quality standards

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
• Minimum 3 years of experience working from heights using fall protection equipment (weight limit: 225 lbs or lower)
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Experience detecting hazardous conditions and ensuring workplace safety
• Proven background in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACTIVE Secret Clearance
• Knowledge of live aircraft operations and support, including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems
• 3+ years of C-17 platform experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret C-17 blueprints and USAF Technical Orders
• Multi-system operations and repair experience
• Strong ability to work safely within complex schedules and maintain high standards of quality and productivity

Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
