Marketing and Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing and Communications Specialist to support corporate marketing, proposal development, website content, and community engagement initiatives. This role will manage social media, coordinate events, maintain corporate branding assets, and support proposal related marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and comfortable working across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing and Communications
• Manage and maintain company social media platforms including LinkedIn and other channels
• Create and publish content aligned with company branding and messaging
• Post project updates, event highlights, and company news on the company website
• Support overall corporate marketing initiatives and campaigns
• Assist with development of marketing materials and branded content

• Website Management
• Maintain and update company website content
• Post photos, announcements, and project updates
• Ensure branding consistency across website pages
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather content

• Corporate Branding and Photography
• Manage corporate photo library and branding assets
• Coordinate and organize corporate photography
• Maintain organized file structure for marketing materials
• Ensure consistent use of logos, images, and brand standards

• Social Media and LinkedIn Management
• Manage company LinkedIn page and create regular posts
• Monitor engagement and respond as appropriate
• Develop content related to company culture, projects, and community involvement
• Support growth of company online presence

• Community Engagement and Events
• Organize and coordinate company participation in community events
• Plan and manage events such as 5Ks, volunteer activities, and community outreach initiatives
• Coordinate logistics, communication, and promotional materials
• Capture and share event content for marketing and social media

• Proposal and Business Development Support
• Support SPPD efforts
• Assist with proposal marketing content and formatting
• Prepare and manage RFI responses
• Ensure branding consistency in proposal submissions

• Joint Venture Marketing Support
• Support marketing efforts for joint venture company initiatives
• Assist with development of social media presence for joint venture
• Contact businesses to request permission for promotional collaborations such as branded shirts
• Help coordinate community based marketing efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
• Two or more years of marketing, communications, or proposal support experience
• Experience managing social media platforms especially LinkedIn
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience supporting proposals or business development preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with website content management systems preferred

Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000
