Senior Product Manager/Senior Product Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Senior Product Manager/Senior Product Specialist with excellent people, communication, technical, and organizational skills with a successful track record of accountability for end-to-end delivery of digital, analytics, and AI products. In the role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to shipping by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at scale and speed. Our product managers work closely with BDS business leaders, internal BDS users/customers, software developers, data scientists, UX designers, and data engineers to help design and develop analytics and AI technologies to solve business problems. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users, leading to the delivery of high-value products that significantly impact business outcomes. This position can be located in Tukwila, WA, El Segundo, CA, Philadelphia, PA, Arlington, VA, or St Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:

  • Define product vision, incorporating creative thinking in collaboration with UX design, stakeholders, and end users
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps and prioritized product backlogs with clear definition
  • Create context and clarity for the product team to deliver against product roadmaps
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to identify and articulate emerging opportunities, identify business outcomes, and scope to connect with the appropriate analytics product menu
  • Proven experience in sprint planning and backlog prioritization with deep expertise in Agile methodologies, leveraging Scrum practices to drive cross-functional alignment, accelerate product delivery, and ensure iterative value creation.
  • Communicate strategy and consistent product messaging to stakeholders and users
  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly
  • Work collaboratively with software development, data science, legal, compliance, UX, and other teams on cutting-edge technologies
  • Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements with focus on business value outcomes
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood by teams and that implementation plans meet or exceed expectations
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in technology and aviation
  • Participate in annual and quarterly planning processes, leveraging Scaled Agile (SAFe)
  • Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product ensuring the product is well adopted with end users
  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities
  • Assess and address technical risks
  • Serve as an evangelist and subject matter expert on your product to the technical teams, stakeholders, and end users
  • Coordinate beta tests, user testing, and set performance benchmarks
  • Analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, and communicate status

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of product management experience with technology products, including vision to delivery of product, in an agile, iterative way
  • Experience driving product vision and design discussions
  • Experience with facilitating and participating in Agile development processes
  • Experience in developing digital, analytics, or AI products and technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Scaled Agile (SAFe) is preferred.
  • Master's degree in a technology or business-related field
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction
  • Experience with advanced AI (e.g., GenAI) products
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Software Development, Data Science, UX/UI, Customer Support, or Finance
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management or Product Realization (e.g., manufacturing, product design) for aerospace or industrial sectors
  • Experience as a Product Manager in tech companies
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
