Product Manager

As Product Manager, you will join a team at the forefront of innovation, defining the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Systems Engineering. You will shape the future of engineering by turning bold strategy into measurable outcomes, overseeing everything from roadmap execution and customer adoption to scaling, compliance, and ROI.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Execution: Partner with leadership to shape the product strategy, prioritize features, and deliver multi release roadmaps. Continuously refine based on KPIs and customer feedback.
- Stakeholder & Customer Management: Serve as the primary liaison among program management, engineering, and customer stakeholders. Ensure transparency, alignment, and customer satisfaction.
- Product Ownership, Design & Delivery Oversight: Own backlog task prioritization, define requirements and success metrics, guide solution design, lead UAT, and track progress against commitments.
- Deployment & Scaling: Define deployment models (cloud, on prem, classified/air gapped). Build playbooks to expand from small pilots to 100+ user enterprise rollouts while ensuring compliance and security. Define achievable release and deployment schedules that balance deadlines with risk management and contingency planning.
- KPI & Metrics Tracking: Define adoption, efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and ROI metrics. Deliver dashboards and reports to drive continuous improvement.
- Financial Stewardship: Own revenue forecasts, pricing, and budgets. Track financial performance and build business cases for investment.
- Resource & Team Management: Align resources across pilots, deployments, and sustainment. Support skill gap analysis, recruiting, onboarding, and cross functional coordination.
- Governance & Reviews: Lead quarterly business reviews, escalate risks with mitigation plans, and support investment/resource allocation decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in a related field: 12 - 15 years of experience
- Masters: 10 - 13 years of experience
- PhD: 10+ years of experience
- Management Experience: At least 4 years in a management capacity.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of product management experience with B2B platforms or developer tools, including shipped multi-release roadmaps.
- Strong Agile skills: backlog ownership, story mapping, release planning; hands on with tools like Jira/Azure DevOps.
- Experience supporting technical users (engineers, architects) and simplifying complex workflows.
- Expertise planning and deploying software products to cloud environments, coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders to ensure smooth releases
- Proven ability to define and track KPIs with a data driven mindset.
- Executive level communication; demonstrated customer facing leadership with government or regulated industry stakeholders.
- Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of MBSE/Digital Engineering (SysML, Cameo/MagicDraw, UAF), digital thread, and model governance.
- Experience with AI/ML products (LLMs, evaluation pipelines, model lifecycle management).
- Background in deploying to secure/regulated environments (RMF/ATO, FedRAMP, DoD IL5/IL6, air gapped systems).
- Cloud/platform expertise (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes/containers) and secure IdAM/SSO integrations.
- Understanding of DoD/IC missions and acquisition pathways.
Equal Pay Act: This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
