All work is performed in secure environments. Work location is Joint Base Anacostia, Arlington, VA, or Reston, VA. This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI Polygraph. For this role we are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer with expert level knowledge in user experience design methodologies and accessibility standards. Responsibilities:

• Lead design for major systems and establish design systems and standards for consistent user experiences across applications.
• User research, responsive design, and keeping up with the latest UI/UX trends and accessibility standards.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail are essential to collaborate with cross-functional teams and create user-centric designs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 8-12 years of experience.
• Expert in user experience design methodologies and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma, and have a basic understanding of front-end development.
• Certifications can further enhance a candidate's qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with system integration and database management
• Relevant technical or project management certifications
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
