Sr Product Manager - Technical, Kuiper Government Solutions

Product Management Team Member

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The mission of Project Kuiper's Government Solutions (KGS) is to leverage Kuiper and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to United States and allied government customers. This position will be working within the Product Management Team within Kuiper Government Solutions.

Key job responsibilities in this role include:

• Define and price KGS products to include pricing analysis, profitability analysis, and competitor pricing analysis.
• Write product roadmaps, product description documents, and engineering requirements documents for product families.
• Develop Product sheets, help define how to package Kuiper services to meet requirements of multiple government customers.
• Create detailed product requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of the specific customer verticals (local, state, federal, DoD, intelligence community) including use case prioritization and feature definition.
• Work with leadership team to set the customer strategy and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch.
• Manage entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution and work with key stakeholders to deliver on that vision, e.g., business development, engineering, sales, finance, operations, international.
• Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.
• Research and identify new opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

Security Clearance: This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• 5+ years of experience in developing satellite communications services pricing.
• 5+ years of experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
