Ui/Ux Designer
Red Arch Solutions is hiring a UI/UX Designer for a priority program in Annapolis Junction, MD. Candidates in this position shall be responsible for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications. Must be familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies. In this role, the UI/UX Designer shall be responsible for the visual layout, styling of web pages, making key decisions in color, typography, and iconography in component design.
Position Required Skills:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Master's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. OR Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Basic understanding using the Linux CLI
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer
- Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
- Strong understanding of UI layout principles, design systems, responsive design principles and concepts
- Solid understanding of color theory, typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy
- Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS
- A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI/UX design artifacts
Position Desired Skills:
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
Salary range for this position: $160,000-185,000 #CJ
