UX Designer - Remote Eligible

UX Designer

Two Six Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial cleared UX Designer to join a new, dynamic Internal Research and Development (IR&D) team focused on scaling our Agentic AI orchestration product. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of a major company initiative, collaborating with engineering, product management, data science, and capture to drive competitive advantage from building a reusable agentic orchestration layer targeted at specific mission applications.

Our team is dedicated to creating an industry-leading agentic technology for critical applications like collection management, intelligence analysis, decision support, and cyber and information operations. This is a fully remote position with flexibility to manage your day around collaboration with your team. DC location is preferred but not required. Some travel (10-20%) will be required to interface with our customers and Two Six employees collaborating on cleared programs.

What will you do:

• Collaborate in a cross functional group to create simple and intuitive feature designs
• Strategize ways to validate the value of new product ideas with our users
• Work with colleagues to continuously refine the design to development process
• Create rapid prototypes
• Create web-ready assets
• Conduct user research and user testing
• Advocate for user experience design amongst your non-designer peers
• Design experiments that test value in addition to usability
• Advocate and change culture to be user-centered
• Be open and flexible to jump in where help is needed

What you will need (basic qualifications):

• Experience collaborating with tech leads, product managers, and domain experts to build intuitive user experiences
• Experience working in web User Experience Design
• Experience creating rapid prototypes to quickly test new product ideas
• Experience conducting user research and user testing
• Strong visual design aesthetic with a focus on designing for the user
• Familiarity in designing across multiple screen sizes and devices
• Understanding of agile engineering
• Team mentality to do what's best for the product

Nice if you have:

• Experience working with products leveraging agentic AI tools is a key differentiator, and we are also excited to see thoughtful design applied to generative AI and other ML features
• Experience creating designs for government users, particularly in environments with limitations on technology access
• Experience with advanced analytics, natural language processing, large language models and generative AI
• Interest in operational missions supporting the US government

Clearance Requirement: TS clearance: TS/SCI preferred.

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. Salary Range $96,700 - $174,300 USD
