Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a UX Designer to support the FBM program. Candidate will work in a team environment to deliver custom applications to meet our customers' needs. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of designing user-friendly solutions to meet our internal customers goals. Core responsibilities include:

  • Capable of building and maintaining strong business relationships
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced team environment and be a strong team player
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong background with UX Design principals
  • Background on all aspects of the software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Providing the business with innovative solution to meet their current and future needs

US Citizenship Required and the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong in all aspect of UX Design Principals
  • User and system research
  • Develop system designs and prototypes
  • Develop and conduct usability testing
  • Knowledge of FBM program

  • Able to work on an Agile team
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Strong communication skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret

  • Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
  • Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
