Analyst Position at WJCF

WJCF is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Analyst to support the Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, and Newborn Health (SRMNH) program. The Analyst will work closely with government stakeholders and internal teams to strengthen data-driven decision-making, generate insights, support implementation, and contribute to the development of high-quality program materials and analyses. The role requires strong analytical skills, comfort working with large datasets, and the ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations. The Analyst will support workstreams across both SRH and MNCH domains and assist in preparing dashboards, reports, presentations, and research products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and programmatic support across SRMNH initiatives, including cleaning, validating, and analyzing data from multiple health information systems and sources.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring tools to track program performance at various levels.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research, including desk reviews, policy analysis, and stakeholder interviews, to generate evidence and identify gaps in service delivery, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation activities by designing tools, surveys, and frameworks to assess intervention impact and capture user feedback.
  • Assist in synthesizing quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable recommendations, reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project management by coordinating implementation plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including government counterparts, partners, and donors—to strengthen collaboration and support strategic initiatives.
  • Assess supply chain and market dynamics for SRH and MNCH products and support strategies to improve availability and access.
  • Support testing of innovative service delivery models and digital health interventions to enhance uptake of SRH and MNCH services.
  • Provide operational support for planning, organizing meetings, and documentation of program activities.
  • Assist in scoping new opportunities and developing proposals or pitch documents in SRMNH and allied areas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience or postgraduate in a relevant field (public health/administration, economics, social work, sociology, management, population studies, etc.) with a minimum of 1+ year experience.
  • High level of technical proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word. Experience of using advanced analytical tools will be a plus.
  • Ability to absorb and synthesize a broad range of information, including technical information, and prepare compelling presentations and reports.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience of working with government stakeholders and familiarity with the Indian public health system will be a plus.
